Narthex has a long history of serving those in need. While we’re proud of our legacy in providing vital support to people facing hardship, we’re excited to announce a new chapter for our organization. Narthex is a development charity working to break the cycle of poverty. Founded in 2003 and based in Sparkhill, Birmingham, we provide essential items and support services to those facing hardship. Through our services like welfare advice, community pantry, food banks and immediate resources, we aim to empower individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
